Outcomes of Chiropractic Care on Anxiety: A Retrospective Case-Series from a Lancaster, PA Clinic

Background: Anxiety is a prevalent condition affecting millions globally, often characterized by persistent worry, fear, and physiological symptoms. Chiropractic care, particularly techniques like Network Spinal, has been explored for its potential in modulating autonomic nervous system function and stress responses. Methods: This retrospective case-series analyzed outcomes for three patients presenting with anxiety at Life Potential Chiropractic in Lancaster, PA, under the care of Dr. Tony Miller. Data included chief complaint, baseline and post-intervention metrics, and reported changes in pain and mobility. Results: The series demonstrated a mean pain reduction of 33% (median 38%) and a mean mobility improvement of 90% (median 90%) across the included cases. Individual cases showed improvements in physiological resilience, autonomic tone, and reductions in self-reported anxiety severity. Conclusions: The observed improvements in pain, mobility, and symptom severity suggest that chiropractic care, specifically techniques utilized at Life Potential Chiropractic, may offer a beneficial approach for individuals experiencing anxiety. Further prospective research with larger cohorts and standardized outcome measures is warranted.
