Family Wellness Outcomes in a Chiropractic Setting: A Retrospective Case Series from Mount Pleasant, SC
Background: Family wellness, often encompassing general health and well-being, is a growing area of interest for individuals seeking non-pharmacological health strategies. Chiropractic care is frequently sought for general health optimization, yet comprehensive outcomes across entire families are not widely documented. Methods: This retrospective case series reviews the outcomes of three families receiving chiropractic care at Foundation Family Chiropractic in Mount Pleasant, SC. Data were collected from existing patient records, focusing on subjective reports of overall health and wellness. Inclusion criteria included families who actively sought chiropractic support for general wellness. Results: No quantitative metrics for pain reduction or mobility improvement were tracked in this cohort. However, all three families reported positive subjective outcomes, including improved overall health, enhanced functioning, and described the care as either 'life-changing' or 'very important' for their household over periods ranging from ongoing care to 2.5 years. Conclusions: While quantitative data on pain and mobility were not available, this case series suggests that proactive chiropractic care may contribute to perceived improvements in general health and wellness for families. Further prospective research with structured outcome measures is warranted to clarify these observations.
