Chiropractic Care for Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries: A Retrospective Case Series from Midway Chiropractic
Background: Motor vehicle accidents (MVAs) often result in musculoskeletal injuries requiring comprehensive management. Chiropractic care is frequently sought by individuals experiencing MVA-related pain and dysfunction. This retrospective case series investigates the outcomes of chiropractic interventions for MVA-related injuries at Midway Chiropractic. Methods: This study reviewed four de-identified patient cases from Midway Chiropractic in Des Moines, WA, who presented with injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Data collected included chief complaints, baseline status, post-treatment status, timeframe, and qualitative recovery narratives. Objective outcome measures such as pain reduction and mobility improvement percentages were not systematically tracked in these cases. Results: Four patients received individualized chiropractic care for MVA-related injuries. Each patient underwent personalized treatment plans and received ongoing support and resources for recovery. Qualitative reports indicated positive recovery experiences and continued progress with care, with patients crediting the structured approach and consistent treatment. Conclusions: While quantitative data on pain and mobility improvements were not available, this case series suggests that individualized chiropractic care at Midway Chiropractic provides a structured and supportive framework for patients recovering from motor vehicle accident injuries. Further research with standardized quantitative outcome measures is warranted.
