Low Back Pain Management with Chiropractic Care: A Retrospective Case Series from Venice Village Chiropractic
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition affecting a significant portion of the global population, often leading to disability and reduced quality of life. This retrospective case series investigates the outcomes of chiropractic interventions for LBP at a private practice. Methods: Data from 20 de-identified patients presenting with LBP at Venice Village Chiropractic were analyzed. Primary outcome measures included numerical pain scale ratings at baseline and post-treatment, with pain reduction percentage calculated. Mobility improvement was not consistently tracked. Results: The series demonstrated a mean pain reduction of 80% (median 81%) across 20 patients. Multiple patients reported significant relief, with some achieving complete resolution of symptoms and returning to full activity, including sports and occupational duties. Conclusions: Chiropractic care at Venice Village Chiropractic appears to be associated with substantial pain reduction in patients with low back pain. While limited by its retrospective, single-center design, these findings support further investigation into the efficacy of chiropractic interventions for LBP.

Retrospective Case Series: Chiropractic Care for Low Back Pain at a Portage, MI Clinic
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a highly prevalent condition, leading to significant disability and healthcare costs. Chiropractic care is a common treatment approach for LBP. This study retrospectively evaluates the outcomes of chiropractic interventions for LBP in a private practice setting. Methods: A case series design was employed, analyzing de-identified patient data (n=15) from Back To Health Chiropractic - Portage over an unspecified period. Inclusion criteria required documented LBP complaints and subsequent chiropractic care with outcome metrics. Primary outcomes included patient-reported pain reduction percentages. Results: The aggregate data from 15 patients demonstrated a mean pain reduction of 86% (median 90%) following chiropractic care. Individual cases frequently reported a return to normal activities and resolution of specific pain-related limitations. For instance, one patient with 'Pain 7/10, missing work and avoiding workouts' reported a 70% pain reduction and returned to normal activities within 12 weeks. Conclusions: The findings suggest that chiropractic care, incorporating techniques such as adjustments, corrective exercises, and adjunctive therapies, may be effective in reducing low back pain and improving functional outcomes for patients in this clinical setting. Further prospective research with larger cohorts is warranted.

Chiropractic Care for Low Back Pain: A Retrospective Case Series from Back To Health Chiropractic - Muskegon
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition affecting a significant portion of the adult population globally, often leading to considerable disability and economic burden. Chiropractic care, including spinal adjustments, is a commonly sought treatment. This case series aims to document outcomes for patients receiving chiropractic care for LBP within a clinical practice setting. Methods: A retrospective review was conducted on 17 de-identified patient records from Back To Health Chiropractic - Muskegon in Norton Shores, MI, who presented with a chief complaint of low back pain. Data collected included baseline pain levels, post-treatment pain levels, and qualitative descriptions of functional improvement. Patients underwent various synergistic treatments including chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, laser therapy, and SoftWave therapy. Results: Across the 17 cases, the mean reduction in low back pain was 86%, with a median reduction of 87%. Individual cases demonstrated significant improvements in daily activities, sleep quality, and exercise tolerance. For example, one patient with persistent lumbar pain (8/10 baseline) achieved a 99% pain reduction after 12 visits. Another patient with sharp low back pain (7/10 baseline) reported 90% pain reduction following 12 visits. Conclusions: The findings from this case series suggest that chiropractic care, often enhanced with adjunctive therapies, may be effective in reducing low back pain and improving functional status in patients. These results warrant further investigation through larger, controlled studies.

Management of Low Back Pain with Multimodal Chiropractic Care: A Retrospective Case-Series
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition that significantly impacts quality of life. This article examines outcomes for patients receiving chiropractic care for LBP in a private practice setting. Methods: A retrospective case-series was conducted on four patients from Frederick Chiropractic in Raleigh, NC, who presented with low back pain. Data including pain reduction percentages and functional improvements were extracted from existing patient records. The primary intervention consisted of a multimodal approach including Diversified Technique, neurological assessment, and massage therapy. Results: In this cohort (n=4), the mean self-reported pain reduction was 55% (median 55%). Individual functional improvements were noted across cases, including a 20° increase in flexion for one patient, an extension of standing tolerance from 10 to 25 minutes for another, and a 50% reduction in sleep interruptions for a third. Treatment timeframes for these outcomes ranged from two to four weeks. Conclusions: The findings from this small case-series suggest that a multimodal chiropractic approach may be associated with reduced pain and improved function for patients with low back pain. These results highlight the need for further, more rigorous research with larger sample sizes and control groups.

Data on chief complaint, baseline pain and function, and post-treatment outcomes were collected. The primary outcome measure was the patient-reported percentage of pain reduction. Results: The cohort of eight patients reported a mean pain reduction of 90% (median 93%). All patients reported a return to normal activities. Outcomes were achieved over time frames ranging from 6 weeks to 3 months. Treatments included chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, class IV laser therapy, and SoftWave therapy. Conclusion: The findings from this case series suggest that a multimodal approach to chiropractic care can be associated with substantial reductions in pain and improvements in function for patients with low back pain. The results are promising, but due to the study's limitations, including the lack of a control group, further research is required to establish causality.
